1. Policy Overview
This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations and refunds for photography and videography services provided by Rao Studios. By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Token Payment Policy
Non-Refundable Token
- Token Amount: ₹500 (Five Hundred Rupees) - Booking confirmation fee
- Purpose: Secures your event date and confirms booking
- Refund Status: NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances
- Adjustment: Token amount will be adjusted in your final package payment
- Validity: Token payment is valid for the specific event date booked
3. Client Cancellation Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the notice period provided before the event date:
- 75% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- Must provide written notice 30 days before event
- Refund processed within 7-10 business days
- 50% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- Must provide written notice 15-29 days before event
- Refund processed within 7-10 business days
- 25% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- Must provide written notice 7-14 days before event
- Refund processed within 7-10 business days
- No refund of advance payment
- Token amount remains non-refundable
- Alternative date may be offered (subject to availability)
4. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances
In case of circumstances beyond our control, the following policy applies:
- Natural Disasters: Floods, earthquakes, cyclones, etc.
- Government Restrictions: Lockdowns, curfews, travel bans
- Health Emergencies: Pandemic-related restrictions
- Venue Issues: Venue cancellation or unavailability
Solution: Alternative dates will be offered with no additional charges. If no suitable date is available, full refund (excluding token) will be provided.
5. Rao Studios Cancellation
In the rare event that Rao Studios needs to cancel your booking:
- Full Refund: 100% refund of all payments including token
- Alternative Arrangements: We will help arrange alternative photographers/videographers
- Compensation: Additional compensation may be provided based on circumstances
- Notice Period: Minimum 48 hours notice (except emergencies)
6. Date Change Policy
Client Requested Changes
- 30+ Days Notice: Free date change (subject to availability)
- 15-29 Days Notice: ₹500 processing fee
- 7-14 Days Notice: ₹1000 processing fee
- Less than 7 Days: Treated as cancellation
Studio Requested Changes
- No Charges: Free date change
- Compensation: 10% discount on final package
- Priority Booking: Priority for future bookings
- Alternative: Full refund if no suitable date
7. Refund Processing
Refund Timeline
- PayU/UPI: 3-5 business days
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Net Banking: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfer: 7-10 business days
- Cash Payments: 7-10 business days via bank transfer
Refund Method
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Bank transfer details required for cash payments
- Refund confirmation sent via email
- Transaction ID provided for tracking
8. Non-Refundable Scenarios
No Refund Will Be Provided In:
- Client no-show on event day without prior notice
- Event cancellation due to client's personal reasons on event day
- Dissatisfaction with delivered photos/videos (quality disputes)
- Changes in client preferences after service delivery
- Technical issues beyond our control (venue restrictions, lighting, etc.)
- Third-party interference during the event
9. Partial Service Cancellation
If you need to cancel only part of your booked services:
- Photography Only: 50% of photography package refund (based on notice period)
- Videography Only: 50% of videography package refund (based on notice period)
- Additional Hours: Full refund if cancelled 24+ hours in advance
- Extra Services: Refund based on individual service terms

11. Dispute Resolution
- Direct Communication: All disputes should first be addressed through direct communication
- Email Resolution: Written communication preferred for record keeping
- Mediation: Third-party mediation if direct resolution fails
- Legal Jurisdiction: Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan courts have jurisdiction
