1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging Rao Studios for photography and videography services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and Rao Studios (the "Company").
2. Services Provided
Rao Studios provides professional photography and videography services including but not limited to:
- Wedding photography and videography
- Pre-wedding shoots
- Corporate events
- Birthday parties and celebrations
- Product photography
- Portrait sessions
- Event documentation
3. Booking and Confirmation
- Booking Process: All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable token payment
- Date Confirmation: Your event date is secured only upon receipt of the token payment
- Contract: A detailed contract will be provided outlining specific services, timelines, and deliverables
- Changes: Any changes to the booking must be communicated at least 7 days in advance
4. Payment Terms
- Token Payment: A non-refundable token is required to confirm booking
- Advance Payment: 50% of the total package amount is due 15 days before the event
- Final Payment: Remaining balance must be paid on or before the event day
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via PayU (Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets), bank transfer, and cash
- Late Payment: Late payments may result in service suspension or cancellation
5. Cancellation Policy
- Client Cancellation: Token payment is non-refundable under any circumstances
- 30+ Days Notice: 75% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- 15-29 Days Notice: 50% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- 7-14 Days Notice: 25% refund of advance payment (excluding token)
- Less than 7 Days: No refund of advance payment
- Force Majeure: In case of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable circumstances, alternative dates will be offered
6. Service Delivery
- Timeline: Edited photos and videos will be delivered within 15-30 working days post-event
- Preview: A preview gallery will be shared within 3-5 working days
- Delivery Method: Final deliverables will be provided via Google Drive, USB, or cloud storage
- Backup: We maintain backups for 6 months post-delivery
7. Copyright and Usage Rights
- Ownership: Rao Studios retains copyright of all images and videos
- Client Usage: Clients receive unlimited personal usage rights
- Commercial Use: Commercial usage requires written permission and may incur additional fees
- Portfolio Rights: Rao Studios reserves the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes
- Social Media: We may share selected images on our social media platforms with proper credits
8. Liability and Insurance
- Equipment: Rao Studios is not liable for equipment failure, but we carry backup equipment
- Data Loss: While we take utmost care, we are not liable for data loss due to technical failures
- Venue Restrictions: Client must inform us of any venue restrictions or photography limitations
- Third Party: We are not responsible for actions of third parties at events
- Maximum Liability: Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services
9. Client Responsibilities
- Information: Provide accurate event details, timings, and venue information
- Access: Ensure our team has proper access to all event areas
- Cooperation: Coordinate with event organizers for smooth photography/videography
- Safety: Inform us of any safety concerns or restrictions at the venue
- Timeline: Adhere to agreed timelines and schedules
10. Editing and Retouching
- Standard Editing: All images receive standard color correction and enhancement
- Retouching: Basic retouching is included; extensive retouching may incur additional charges
- Style: Editing style will be consistent with our portfolio and agreed aesthetic
- Revisions: Minor revisions are included; major changes may incur additional fees
11. Dispute Resolution
- Communication: All disputes should first be addressed through direct communication
- Mediation: If needed, disputes will be resolved through mediation
- Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh courts
- Governing Law: These terms are governed by Indian law
12. Modifications
Rao Studios reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and communicated to existing clients. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
